I came here because they have a specialist for the rare type of tumor that was found during another surgery ... My appointment time was at 9:30, I was told to arrive at 9, and we weren't seen until 10:30. Pretty typical. But.. I take my health very seriously. I felt very "swept under the rug" as they said "no surveillance". If I am requesting surveillance, if I am paying for it, why would you tell me no? There are many people who have later had problems with the rare cancer that was found .. and no surveillance? I didn't feel heard. At all. Maybe it's because I'm not in my last stage of life due to the disease. Also, I'd like to say before you tell a patient something about the tumor that was found (in my case the doctor said it was benign) you might want to check your website that made me come to you, stating that neuroendorcine cancer is always malignant. No matter what. I'll be getting a second opinion other than Dr Haider. I was not impressed. The way they treated someone suffering from the type of anxiety that I have and basically rushing me out the door was disgusting. I will be appealing this visit.

Leah in scheduling is an angel. Cindy, whom I believe is in patient care relations, is also very kind and helpful. I had an issue with scheduling and these two ladies were so helpful in getting those issues resolved. I've been a patient at Moffitt for almost a year now and they are always very caring and accommodating.

Moffit has been taking excellent care of me for 10 years now on my Multiple Myeloma maintenance. I see Dr. Alsina in the BMT Clinic every 4 months and then get an infusion after my appointment. I also see Lindsey in Pain Management every month to monitor my pain from the Cancer and Chemo side effects as well as the two Stem Cell Transplants I experienced. Anyone that gets Cancer should go to Moffitt Cancer Center for their treatment. I highly recommend them.

I'm here for my mom giving herself chemo. waiting for at least 5 hours. is a link to moffit but central cancer but smaller service is fast. Clean place with access to a wheelchair. the nurses explain the procedure clearly and precisely. really the moffit cancer in tampa is a first class hospital.

Do you have any questions from your visit?
I believe there's only one building at the International Plaza location. Reception is immediately in front of you when you walk in. They will make sure you know where to go and that your comfortable. Moffitt is amazing. They have wonderful staff. My oncologist is also at this location. They are wonderful and caring. Good luck to you!!!

It all depends on your condition and what type of chemo your own oncologist has you on. Best thing is to set up a consultation with a specialist for leukemia.
Not at all.
Do you need a dialysis course? Please send me more details I would like to work here
I don't know if they do, you probably should call them direct. That's what I did an they answered me right away.
You certainly can! I would look on their site: for more details: https://moffitt.org/cancers/prostate-cancer/
Each person is different and even everyday can be different. Good luck.
