Amazing place. So many options for baked goods. They also have great collection of deli items. Service is great. They have really nice outdoor patio. Definitely stop here on your way to capitola beach.

This was one healthy and “sweet tooth” pleasing experience that truly deserves the stars for the food and bakery quality & verity, business model, service, overall dining. From the moment you enter you get a guidance of pick a number which will get called by personal assistant, who will walk you through the store to pick your food and combine an order with proper recommendations based on your needs. You will also have an option to pick and choose any freshly baked bakery or cakes. Make sure to order that cup of freshly brewed perfect roast coffee. Get outside and pick your seat at the table previously cleaned (sanitized) and notified by the post on the table. Freshness of the food is so unique, you can taste the difference of each ingredient, be it kale, brussel sprouts, soup of the day or any of the freshly baked goods. Has an excellent coffee roast and three refills for the regular blend. Pick your food, drinks, bakes and table with the street view and enjoy! Was here the first time and will definitely be back for more. THANK YOU, Gayle’ Team!

Came for pastries, stayed for dinner as everything else was booked at the peak of Thanksgiving weekend. The food is reasonably good but somewhat pricey for a takeout. We liked tomato & rice soup.

Love this relaxing garden! The bakery is great, there are many choices for your selection. Staffs are nice and helpful which make you feel comfortable. The eating area is so chill, even the day we visited was cloudy I still can feel the warm and loving atmosphere. I will definitely visit Gayle's again with my family!

They've got procedures in place, you can call and there's a separate window for pickup or there's a very organized line with wait estimates along the way. For obvious reasons limited customers allowed in at a time. Once in they guide you through nicely. Honestly feels less chaotic than before covid-19. Even the restroom is available but you need to go outside and enter though a separate door that only gives you access to the restroom. They've done an outstanding job
Yes gift cards are available. www.gaylesbakery.com/product/gift-card/
Yes it's best to call them.
20-25 min, 350F.
Put it in a glass or ceramic dish. Cover it with another glass lid or ceramic dish, put it in the microwave for 3-5 minutes at 40% power, depending on how cold the Mac is and the wattage of your machine. Stir it. If it's not hot enough, repeat. NO NOT USE a plastic wrap product, wax paper or parchment paper is acceptable.
Yes. Their take out window is open and you can park behind Gayle's and walk up to the window.
They deliver their baked goods to other businesses.
No churros, jjst lots of delicious baked goods, breads and prepared lunch items, hot and cold.
Not sure about chocolate cake but they do have gluten free items
Thanks to all who responded to my question. I know it's a bakery and deli, but they also used to sell the BEST cooking aids, one of them the salt. They sold it for 6 or more years. Learned about it when I took one of their cooking classes.
They are a local spot and have a small online store that sells bags of their biscotti and granola. You'd have to have a local go in, buy what you want, and ship it themselves.
