Very helpful and understanding. Willing to work with clients. They work on providing that community feeling of support in times of hardship often when a person feels very alone.

This place you have to go to churchs no shelter and talk a bath there to none at the church's if you work early you will not be able to wash good cant have a job that has you out pass ten if you work early and have kids you have to drop them off after you leave the church before work but the place doesn't open till 7 my kids was going to have to stay outside for two hrs Set up plan is for people who do not work and need them to help them find work and they must depend on the family promise staff not for a family that working and fell on hard time and need help finding a place or shelter until they get straight you can only bring two weeks of clothes for a three month program doesn't make sense

You can call the shelter and talk to the director about it but a good idea.
Family Promise helps homeless families, not individuals.
Yes, if the items are in good condition. Thank you
Yes, you may qualify. However, anyone in Wake County seeking shelter or housing services needs to first contact Coordinated Entry through the Partnership to End Homelessness at 919-443-0096 to enroll for services. You may contact us afterwards and we can see if you are on the waiting list when we have an opening.
Family Promise of Wake County has a website and a number online. I don't know it by heart.
Hi, we are a shelter for families and we are able to serve families of all sizes. We take families from the coordinated entry process. If you are in Wake County, here is the link letting you know who to call is below. https://endhomelessnesswake.org/continuum-of-care/coordinated-entry/ All Wake County shelters are operating through this Coordinated Entry system. This means that families need only contact one number and their name will be placed on list for all shelters. Feel free to contact us with additional questions - 919.832.6024
Sir, if you are a single male, please seek shelter at South Wilmington Street Center. We are an emergency shelter for families but are currently at capacity.
Thank you for thinking of us but all of our families have been taken care of for Christmas. We are in need of cleaning products, paper towels, toilet paper, and shower towels. At this time, we do not need toys.
Our policy does allow us to serve couples but those with minor children are prioritized. It is very rare that we have space for a couple due to the high volume of families with minor children experiencing homelessness in Wake County. If a family is meeting their goals regarding income, housing, and employment, our max length of stay is 12 weeks.
