Nice trails from 1/4 mile loops to 5mile loop. Mixed foliage from old oak at lake side and moved up to tall sequoia redwoods up at the first parking/pick Ic area. Will be returning. looks like boats rentals for fishing.

From the website... Loch Lomond is a Pet Friendly Recreation Area! Pets on leash are welcome on ALL trails and picnic areas. However, they are not permitted on our rental boats or in the reservoir.
Call first. You have to schedule to have it cleaned/sterilized before hand to ensure that it doesn't contaminate the reservoir with an invasive mussel.
No. Day use only
Not now, Loch Lomond is closed till March 1st 2018.
Yes you can. Your not allowed to swim , no gas powered motors. You can fish there
Yes. A consent form will need to be signed by the guardian.
Yes you do. If you don't have one you can purchase a 1 day license at the loch. Be aware that Loch Lomond is currently closed for the winter.
8$ to enter. Pay at the entrance station
Yes. I live within walking distance to Loch Lomond gate and I hold a 2021 season pass right now. The lake hours and boat rental operations on the Loch Lomond website are accurate and current. The BBQ/picnic tables were still closed last Monday 5/3/21 when I went there. But we can enjoy boating, hiking and fishing.
Loch Lomond

They cant add fish while the lake is still full and spilling over.

Loch Lomond receives one plant of 2,000lbs of Rainbow trout pre year from the Department of fish and wildlife. Usualy in spring. Catfish have been stocked in the past but due to they can breed in the reservoir, no plants are necessary.
After 3 kill streak.
No apparent seasonality based on LLRA site info http://www.cityofsantacruz.com/government/city-departments/water/watershed/loch-lomond-recreation. They stock trout each year which leads to a flurry of fisherfolk. Otherwise it is wily bigmouth bass and other common species.
The park is closed until March 1, 2019
Yes. But many at this time....
Patrick this is one of my favorite places to go in fact I'll be going there tomorrow but right now they're open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. right now in April that'll change it'll open a little bit earlier because of the light this place has no camping Per say as far as overnight goes obviously but it does have a good number of picnic benches located all around it has a kids play area and you've got to be In-Shape to walk around this Lake this is no easy walk it would be very difficult for an elderly person to go very far but it was nominated the most beautiful Reservoir in Northern California once and I still think it is it would be sad for you not to go check it out because it is excellent especially if you like fishing in fact when you look next to my name at the photo that is Loch Lomond Reservoir and that is one of the largemouth bass that I caught and released
