Beautiful place to swim. Very refreshing!!! We parked by the street at Oxford rd trail and walked 17 minutes to find this beautiful place. Worth the walked! No dogs allowed.

This is a wonderful place to get a taste of the forest. It's not to far away from downtown Santa Cruz. Pretty cool areas to swim here.

Mushroom hunting is not allowed
There are areas of camping serca ... where they can also bring their trailers but where the lake is not ... it is very rustic ... it is only recommended to go down to the lake with the least of possible things.
It's a wonderful spot to cool off in the summer but in spring it's to cold to comfortably swim in the river
Not really, you could get it down the main easy trail but getting it down to the swimming hole would be like taking it down a flight of stairs - natural uneven funky ones. I recommend wearing your non walking baby or toddler down. At walking age they may be able to walk/climb down on their own with supervision and some hand holding.
No camping or BBQing allowed. There are no restroom facilities.
