I've been going here yrs for the food . Seems like a hole in the wall but the food is usually great. I say usually because we went today. We ordered the beef hard shell tacos and a torta Carne asada . It was gross the beef was cold , no flavor , the fries seemed like they had been refried. The tomatoes were slimy and just overall a complete disappointment 0

This will sound funny. Go for the food. They have a taco stand inside that is better than most, and the fried chicken! Yes, gas station chicken that is worth writing a review about! it's really good! And thrifty ice cream! all in one place! and it's a gas station! the clientele, is ...well... interesting. Good place to people watch. Have fun

This is definitely not the best area to stop and get gas, I probably wouldn't recommend stopping here after sunset. There has been a history of panhandlers and other shady people in the area. There have been several times when I've seen or had contact with people who were obviously under the influence of some kind of substance. One other thing i've never understood is why would they sell fried chicken at a gas station? Who would ever say, "you know... I'm the mood for some of that gas station chicken."
