The food was delicious, but the coffee wasn't as good as in Central Europe. Very friendly, courteous service. There is a great view of the sea from the terrace. We would come again, were very satisfied and can only recommend this restaurant to everyone.

I want to like and support Whale City. It's one of two restaurants in quaint Davenport! And, if I'm honest, the several times I've been there have not been pleasant. It's cramped. The food is, well, food. Coffee & chai drinks have been major fails. The chai was unbearably sweet to someone with a major sweet tooth. The last straw was when I ordered a wet cappuccino and was mansplained the difference between a cappuccino and latte. Barista couldn't seem to understand that I wanted an amount of steamed milk somewhere between cappuccino and latte. So I gave up and agreed to a regular cappuccino. Barista explained that whoever had been making my wet cappuccinos (for the last 10 years) probably didn't know what they were talking about. I was served a latte. 🤦‍♀️
