The food was great! Hot and quick! Portions were great for both my mother and I. She absolutely loved her prawns and scallop combo! I had the fish and chips. Loved the flaky cod. The chips(fries) were delicious too! I couldn't even finish I was stuffed. Oh yeah almost forgot the coleslaw. My mother said it's the best she's ever had. The staff is fantastic. They are friendly and patient and everyone had a smile to share. Definitely recommend this place, we'll be back next time we're in town!

They changed owners (once, I think??)but the food has Never changed! The Fish & Chips have remained consistently SCRUMPTIOUS! And the pies... Oh My Goodness! Award Winning - Literally! I moved a couple hours away, and I drive all the way back every couple weeks JUST FOR THE PIES! I LOVE THEM ALL -BUT THE LEMON CREAM IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST PIE I HAVE EVER EATEN IN MY LIFE! (I've tasted every Lemon Pie I can find within a 200 mile radius and there is nothing like Betty's Fish & Chips Lemon Cream Pies!) Thanks a Million Betty's Fish & Chips! You guys are the BEST! 15 STARS! ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

This is the most delicious fish and chips and I believe it is the tartar sauce. It's not the service so much as it is the food. They are quite busy because of the food. Phenomenal

Absolutely delicious, little pricey. For those of us who are from new England and know the value of true, Atlantic Cod I think it's worth it. I would however be prone to entertain that delightful fish more than once or twice a month if it went down in price some. Tell them Paul sent you! Best fish and chips the side of White Chapel, London.
