Hickory Run State Park Camping

Great campground! Bathrooms and shower houses were clean. The sights were nicely wooded but they were tight and hard to back in. They only had one playground for the entire campground and it was down at the bottom of the mountain. Also you need to drive to the beach area. Those were a few things that aren't nice if you have children.

This was such a lovely state park. The visitor center was ostentatious. The trails were gorgeous and there is so much to see. Parking can be quite tight at some of the trail heads, so leave early to get a good spot. And please do not double park people. Be kind.
