Where to begin with the amount of corruption from the police officers all the way to judges. It is nothing but a "good ol' boys" club. The government and public officials in carbon county are more corrupt than the people they arresting and convicting. This is one county where I fully agree with defunding the police and court systems. I have never been so discraced to to have fought for my country if this is what life is like back state side.

If I can leave less stars I would. I’ve been coming to Jim Thorpe for at least a decade now. Have never ever had issues with parking. Paid 8 dollars to get on the lot, spent the day with my mother. I see a ticket not only on my car, but several others in a line. Violation being parked in a reserved spot. Never have I ever ran into this issue before. Took it to the admin building where this pleasant looking woman told me not her problem I should follow the rules.said there was a sign indicating it. There is not. So carbon county stole 20 dollars from not only me, but several other travelers today. Maybe instead of desperately stealing from the people who pay to keep your town alive you should have more productive spending meetings. Here’s the 20 dollars for that woman’s 35k salary, glad I couple pay your groceries today. Disgusting.
