Amazing store at the right location for my office downtown. The cost of a radiant heater I just purchased was a little less than HD or Lowes. Plus they had the oil radiant heater in stock! Give this shop a try on your way home if you need any tools or supplies for evening projects.

Exceptionally rude staff/management. After informing the manager that I would not be coming back to the store, he followed me out to scream from the front door. Way to lose another customer. Low inventory and rude store associates. I would save your time and shop elsewhere.

Sorry to say that this business lacks everything. Was at the Ace store on state and collister which had sold out of item I was looking for so stopped at Capital lumber. Inventory extremely lacking along with customer service if you want to call it that. Rude and very unfriendly and there was only 2 people in the store. Didn't have what I needed so I was in and out in 2 minutes. This is supposed to be a neighborhood store so you'd think they would at least be friendly. Won't ever try to do business with them again!!!

Same employees work here after years and years. Love being greeted by name when I walk in. Great prices without having to buy in bulk and huge selection of quality building lumber, straight boards everytime, and quick turn around on special orders. Thanks for being helpful, encouraging and knowledgeable.
