To process any kind of visa, a reservation/appointment is required, can't walk in. It doesn't say that anywhere on their website. There was a place to do that, but there were no more available this year. So me & my mom came here in the morning & waited in the walk-in line for 3 hrs. We tried so hard & spent so much time getting everything done beforehand, were considerate & patient w/ them , but when we asked them questions nicely, they were not patient & considerate. We even patiently explained & we're polite, but they didn't have patience when answering back, like they didn't want to listen. Even if you're busy, you do not treat your customers like that. Their customer service wasn't what I expected, unprofessional! I'm kinda disappointed & will never ask of their service again. Even though my visa wasn't processed & we're ok w/ that, but the way we were treated wasn't professional. We would feel better if the staff was more patient & considerate.

After trying 1 month of calling and leaving voice messages but got no answer or response, I decided to visit in person. It turns out that they don’t have receptionists to only answer phone calls. Those who are responsible to answer phone calls also have other tasks to do on site, which might explain why they don’t have time to answer the calls… The staff on site (on the 1st and 7th floor) are friendly and helpful and I was able to get things done. In conclusion, something is wrong with the management here, but the staff are friendly and helpful.

We love Taiwan but this office is a complete disgrace to Taiwan and the human race. We applied for visitor visas twice. After meticulously reviewing all the required documents on their website, they sat on the applications for months without contacting us. We tried calling for weeks (usually no one answers the phone, or if you're lucky, you get an answering service that refuses to actually give you the status of the application), until we finally found someone who told me they decided not to process it because it was missing documents that were not noted on the website and they didn't feel it was necessary to call us about it. These applications required our original US passports so we were unable to travel internationally for months because of their negligence. After sending them the documents they requested, we repeated this cycle (they decide not to process, don't tell us, we call, wait, eventually find someone, another arbitrary document that they either already have & lost or didn't ask for originally is needed). I guess my advice is to pay for the expedited processing because they're going to drag their feet on every step of the way, and ideally, spend the 2 weeks up front of trying 300 times to talk to a human who can tell you exactly which documents you need to send in because obviously they don't follow the rules on their website. Also obviously they'll discriminate against you if you're a US citizen or try to speak English, try to get a Taiwanese citizen who speaks Mandarin.

We made reservations online two months ago to renew passports today. Reservation at 10AM, but arrived around 9:15. I was able to find meter parking spot on 7th Street, $4 for 10 hours. Checked in at Suite 104. The lady verified appointment letters and forms to make sure everything was in order. Went to Suite 700 to pay passport fees, etc. The staff(employee number 07 and 018, they didn’t provide names)were courteous and efficient. A warning: make your new passport pictures show your ears, otherwise you would need to have new photos taken, at a store across the street, for $12.

Can I renew my ROC passport by post? What documents need to be prepared?
Ok
If you ride Metro Purple Line, you will not need to park.
No vaccination is required. Everyone was wearing a mask.
Check online or by phone to confirm whether the document can meet the requirements.
yes,最好再問戶政事務所確認每人情況不同。
You should contact the consultant. The situation is constantly changing.
Yes, but i think you probably need to your Taiwanese ID numbers.
call them to find out, their restriction change quite.often lately. Vaccination is.not their main concern.
Nope. Just go early before 2pm and get in line at window 1. Make sure you bring the notice either on your phone or paper.
Try call different state TECO for questions.
You need online to make appointment, no walk in service. Or you can fill form and mail in. But mail in service take longer time and some request may need special notary.

May I ask if you are in a mother-child relationship. You must apply for a passport separately. It is best to go to the defense office in person. It's the same, other questions go online or call to ask the case office, thank you
It is open for appointment only. Call for more info before you go or go to their website. It is open for some in person services.
It shouldn't work. I took the documents to a legal notary public for notarization in June because I sent it by mail, but if you go to the office in person, you can do the notarization directly, but you must first make an appointment with the office if you are in a hurry. Ask them to help you arrange a bit faster, otherwise it may take a month. I suggest you call the interrogation office and tell them what you need to prepare for the matters you want to handle, and then arrange a date with him to handle it. This will be much faster, otherwise the documents will be sent. Sending hurt money and spending time hoping to help you
If it is an entry visa, fill out the form, pay the fee, wait, and collect it. If you want to be a Taiwanese, look at the results of the recent elections.

Passport expires, you can take your photo within 3 months and your old passport. Minor passports expire and require a hukou copy (whole household).
Call the center to get more info. They're really helpful and will tell you what to bring and if you can do it by mail. Some official business can only be done in person.
If you are Mexican and live in US as PR, you need to fill visa application form, two passport photos, original passport with minimum 6 months validity, itinerary plan, bank statement, proof of employment, hotel reservation, personal invitation and perivous visa if you had.
