Great lake. The beach area was packed with people with loud speakers and smoking. Not a beach you go to if you want to relax at all. The nature was beautiful the people ruined the atmosphere.

Beautiful state park. Quiet, clean bathrooms and pretty beach area. I love that part of the beach is shaded. Pavilions for a picnic. Nice place to kayak and relax.

ANYONE over 16 years of age needs a license to fish in PA. Use of the swimming beach is free.

Tuscarora has no RV or tent camping. However, Locust Lake State Park a few miles away does. It has electric hook up for rv's. Camping opens March 30

The park office is only open until 4:00. The park itself is open until sunset.
I don't believe so. I walked through the red,yellow and white trail and there weren't signs for horses. But the park is huge. Check their site for more info and see if there's a horse trail.
There is no Dump Station at Tuscarora, Locust Lake does, and has accommodations for RVs. Tuscarora on the other hand has cabin rentals.
According to their map the deepest part is 52 near the dam breast, at normal water retention levels.

Yes the water is great! They have fresh water pumps from wells all around the park. They are near the playground, the beach area, the camping area, the pavilion areas, the boat launch area, and several other places.
