We had a great time at Lakewood campground.cabin's are very nice and clean.park is well maintained and very nice.I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Our son is a rail fan and discovered this gem of a campground on one of his many adventures. Located in Barnesville, PA, just off Rt 54, we arrived to find newly renovated, full hookup campsites and a first rate location with a beautiful view of the lake. Our trailer is 28’ long and has one slide out. We were able to back into the spacious, level site with ease. There is a brand new restroom and shower facility a very short walk from the sites near the lake if you need access to more than your rig has available. Fellow campers are friendly and we were warmly greeted by a seasonal camper, “Mayor Joe,” and his wife Sheryl with an “S.” They gave us the lowdown on the events and activities for the weekend, and graciously gave us a tour of their incredible 5th Wheel Toy Hauler. What a treat to meet good people willing to welcome you into their circle to make you feel at home. If you’re looking for a great camping experience and a friendly, family atmosphere, Lakewood Park Campground should be on your list of must stays in your travels!

Can’t say enough about this park. It is just beautiful and with the VERY BEST SHOWERS AND BATHROOMS one could ask for! It is better than most homes I have been in including my own!! The owners are just wonderful and there for anything you might need! It was quiet and we enjoyed every moment of being there for our 2 day stay. Well worth the money which wasn’t all that high. I know they are still working on this park and can only imagine how much nicer it will be when they are done! Thank you to Patty and her staff. Great job! Rita and David

1st time renting the family cabin here and it was a great weekend. Owners were very friendly and social upon arrival, camp registration/ store was well stocked with good burning wood and any other items you may have forgotten. The cabin was great, nice size fire ring with adjustable grill height on site with a picnic table and also 2 chairs provided for lounging on the porch. The bathrooms for public use on the campground were very nicely done (single person bathroom with a stand up shower) some areas of the campground were still under renovation but me and my group will definitely return in the future to see the progress the campground has made.
