Dr. Smith did an anterior hip replacement for me just weeks ago and I feel like I have my life back! I can't say enough, if you do what you need to do and follow directions provided to you by the Doctor, (Both before and after your surgery) you will reap the rewards! THANK YOU Dr. Smith and everyone in the office as well as Sutter Hospital, I could not be happier with the outcome and look forward to an active, pain free future!

Doctor Smith replaced both of my knees. He is an excellent surgeon. He takes his time to explain things to you and gives you options as to what would be better for you. I would, and have recommended him to others.

Dr. Briant Smith is very caring and takes the time to answer all the questions I had. He did my shoulder surgery a few years back and I am so happy with the outcome. I am now seeing him for my knee. He took time to explain the results of my MRI and X-rays. He certainly doesn't push anything on you that is not needed and will tell you...we could try the cortisone shot but it's just a temporary fix. He figured out a plan for me, going forward. Very happy with his care and expertise!

I am one month out from an anterior total hip replacement with Dr. Briant Smith and am so thankful I chose him to do my surgery! He answered all questions and explained everything thoroughly, I felt comfortable with his expertise from the first appointment.

If your workman's comp contracts with Sutter, then it's quite possible. To know for sure, you should contact the case manager on your workman's comp claim.
