What a lousy experience. We were in the area so decided to stop here for dinner. First off, the service was lousy. No one said hello, server never asked us if we wanted a refill on our water, when the food finally arrived she never came back to check on us, had to ask for the check, and when cashing out the older fellow (owner perhaps?) Never ask how things were I got the hot roast beef sandwich. Although it was good it was a warm roast beef sandwich. My friend got the honey dipped chicken. It was overcooked. The breading was hard like a shell and the meat was dry. The home fries were cold and the salad small with maybe a tablespoon of dressing. Here's the kicker, the price on the menu was scratched out. When he got his bill it was almost $15 !!!! If you look at all my other reviews I pretty sure you'll find that this is my first 1 star review. So that should say something. We'll never be back

Amazing steak & eggs with perfectly crisped home fries. The staff have been great each visit. Nice diner, inexpensive food and great portions. Definitely worth a trip!

This diner has been on a “we should stop there one day” list for 20 years. Finally did this evening and am very pleased to have done so. Pretty well maintained and cleaned 50’s diner complete with working juke boxes at some of the tables. Servers were pleasant but not overly attentive, but I prefer that. I just love a good hot sandwich, Turkey, meatloaf, roast beef, and ordered the turkey. It was exactly what I hope for in a good solid old school diner hot sandwich. Nice slices of Turkey with a classic gravy and homestyle mashed potatoes. Also had the coleslaw which was pretty great with another classic presentation and a sweet vinegary dressing. Had to go for the fresh baked pies, apple bu suggestion. Really good apple pie! This was a pleasant and relaxing dinner experience. Will defiantly be returning soon

I have a rule: no chain restaurants while travelling. So I picked the first diner style restaurant that caught my eye while visiting Pittsburgh; I wasn't disappointed. Our waitress was amazing, funny and sweet. I wish I could remember her name, but all of the staff seemed friendly. The food was good and at a great price. Very casual, kid friendly environment. My 10 year old daughter, who normally orders from the adult menu ordered a kids breakfast and wasn't able to finish her plate. I would go back again.

The parking lots off of the diner almost behind it
Nope. Not at all
No. They do not have waffles.
Yes
Regina, I think if Ritters was not very busy meaning empty tables, counter space...I would pull out my computer. Now when Ritter's is busy, with a line to get in, leave your computer, tablet etc., at home.
R u at a safe distance between customers. They clean tables after every Customer leaves the restaurant.
No we will be closed on thanksgiving day
Yup just ate there same as always thankfully
When I was there for breakfast, I saw several people stop in and pick up to go orders.
