Earth911.com is a great resource for finding local operations for disposal of virtually anything. Additionally, consider contacting your local city hall/public works office as these agencies typically respond to community issues including curbside operation. Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), dtsc.ca.gov/, is another option.

I am told that I can not bring more than one bag of 50 plastic bottles to get the CRV.I make 20 mile trips to return a single bag of bottles with high cost and pollution. How can this be fixed? CA Govys fix your problem!

According to the FAQ on calrecycle website, it's recycling center operator's descretion to exceed 50 count. You need to find an operator who accepts more than 50. Also this is not the website to complain. Call 1-800-recycle to check for options
