They do not help the victims of California. I was in a severe accident about a year and a half ago I submitted everything timely for all my bills that weren't covered.. There was nothing done about any of it I call every week. All the assistance they offer is bull. I was left w severe spinal damage and a prolapse gut that requires surgery that I did not qualify for disability for. They still did not assist me. So I appreciate it 😌 california is just the worst

My son has been going to therapy that accepts CalVCB. He's been going since December 2021, it is now August 2022 & I just found out through his therapist that their office has not received any back payments from them this whole time & that we now have to come out of pocket or not do therapy for him at all. Which would be crucial because his therapy is because of school trauma & in todays world with children safety at school, this is NOT going to stop us from seeking therapy! Therapists today have to jump through hoops because of potential fraud & so on.. But this is certainly NOT OK! They also have a past due balance with other clients ranging in the thousands dating back 2 years before me so that's why they had to stop ours & I don't blame them. And by looking at these reviews before me, I know I'm not alone dealing with this. Something has to change, FAST!

If I could give this a zero star I would. They don’t communicate they take months for any type of response and have horrible customer service for the victims of there state. I was shot and paralyzed 3 years ago and have been trying to get compensation since and they’ve continuously denied me it’s not worth jumping through there hoops to only get denied in the end for no reason. Channel 7 needs to do a story on them.

They are bad with communication. You can submit your documents and each response you receive from them will take several months and be a negative response of them denying you or that they need more information but then you gotta wait another several months for another negative response. It’s not worth it I can be dead. I rather had stayed in my deadly domestic situation then deal with headaches and circles and inconveniences they have placed on me In my life. At least I knew what to expect. The grass is not greener on the other side. I wish I had stayed and I don’t want nothing to do with cvcb. They have bad attitudes and don’t understand the feelings that one may have. They get your hopes up just to leave u in bs or a deeper whole. How can they say they will help. I was a dummy to believe them. My case was filed almost 2yrs ago and It still is unresolved. I know someone else who’s case is unresolved. They don’t help unless u r already dead.
