I have never been to a better Quality Inn, or any big name hotel than this one in Big Stone Gap. Each wall and room had the cabin/forest-like feel to it. If you would've told me this was a local hotel, I would 100% believe you. People that run this place are also incredible. We will be staying here again!!!!

The sheets are soft, rooms are clean, conversations with the front desk and cooking staff are warm and genuine. The new gazebos are outstanding and offer excellent views of sunsets, after a long day of work. Plus visiting with your new neighbors is an added luxury.

We were coming from another hotel in the area that was not so great so we got in late. The staff was absolutely fantastic and accommodating. Very clean and a great view of the mountains. We missed breakfast and we were kinda disappointed. Robin at the front desk went out of her way to go in the back and make us a breakfast tray. She even offered us a late check out because we got in so late. We were both super impressed with the hospitality here. Thank you Robin and everyone else for making our stay great.

Our extended family only stayed overnight for a funeral but the staff made us welcome and comfortable. We met other groups staying at the hotel who come back every year for the comfort, the amazing views and location. We had stayed here years ago so choosing this hotel was an easy decision. I would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to visit the area.
