Hertz Car Rental - Gardena - Western Avenue HLE

Booked a Rental last week, and once there to collect the agent advises a $500 deposit fee. That was not mentioned on the website prior to booking. Something like that should be in BOLD PRINT so customers know ahead what to expect. It's no wonder HERTZ stock price dropped so low. I hope they end up like RadioShack cause the way they do business is beyond low.

Great manager deals! Need more small cars for the low managers special! MANAGER THEY NEED SUNSHADES AND AC IN LOBBY 👍👍👍👍 other than that I’ll choose them again! Enterprise is too dam HIGH😒

Staff was friendly which is why I gave two stars but I simply cannot give more than that. I asked to be picked up from my mechanic at a specific time and they said they could not do so until I was ready to be picked up. The representative who I spoke with told me to call one hour ahead of time, and this was clearly wrong. I had to be dropped off by someone else to not lose one hour of my time (minus one star). When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, it was just returned and dirty. I requested another vehicle and was told I would have to wait thirty minutes or more for a clean one. (minus one star). As soon as I got into the vehicle, I noticed it smelled like cigarettes. I told the lady and she said she has already noted it. This is a non-smoking vehicle and I do not smoke. Extremely disappointed. I left because I don’t have another hour to spend waiting for a clean vehicle. (minus one star). This was my first time using Hertz and likely my last.
