On January 4th I went into Walgreens to purchase some vitamins for a friend that test positive for COVID. The vitamins were on sale for BOGO 50% off. At the register the cashier ask me to enter my phone to receive the sales price and I did. On January 8th I noticed on my receipt that I didn't receive the 50% off on two of the vitamins so I went back to Walgreens. I talked to the Manager on duty who took my receipt and we walked to the vitamin aisle he pulled all 4 items that I purchase. He then stated that i should go to my friend and ask for the vitamins and bring them back with me to get the price adjustment. I then explained again to him that my friend has COVID. He then express to me that he will put on gloves when I come back. I couldn't believe that he had the items in his hand alone with my receipt and wouldn't do the adjustment. Was I asking to much as a customer. CUSTOMER SERVICE 👎. Just wanted to share my experience at my neighbor Walgreens (120th and Hawthorne)

Can be very slow in line or long wait on hold but it appears they have added more staff and are more accommodating than in the past. I would give better than 4 stars except they sometimes don’t meet deadlines on when a prescription will be filled. The pharmacists are helpful and will gladly go over your prescription with you.

Pharmacy? Well it looks more like Ulta. More beauty items than health products. You have to walk all the way to the back to find the actual pharmacy and they just have a mini section of first aid. No gauzes variété. I couldn't find the gauze that I needed, at this BEAUTY SUPPLY STORE, not pharmacy. Crazy what money can do. They should think for a moment that when you have a loved one waiting for you at home to take care of them, when you have someone sick or hurt waiting for medicine, or for the items you need to take care of a wound, the last thing you need is to find a pharmacy full of hair dyes and nail polishes at the front of the store. And you need to figure out where is the item that really need, walk all the way to the back, and sometimes don't find what you were looking for, cause they care more about having variety of beauty products than health products. Horrible.

I have had pleasant experiences here but their customer service is not consistent. Had two cases where their tone and how they handled minor issues left me with the notion that they could care less about the actual customer. Good customer service does not leave the customer feeling unheard. And one shouldn’t ever have to feel as though they made a mistake by calling to ask for help.
