Came to Pepboys to have an issue that was found during a vechicle inspection at Hamer Honda looked at. Honda quoted the repair cost at $249. The repair was for a leaking, boot joint located only on 1 side. The employee helping me spent about 5 mins clicking around on his computer and came to the conclusion that I would need the entire suspension repaired which totaled to $700. I asked follow up question, but he really didn’t seem to give me a reason for why I would need an entire suspension rebuild.. it seem like he wasn’t really knowledgeable and just was going by whatever algorithm they’re using there. I ended up going To a friends mechanics and not pay $700.

Long story short, I took my car in for a new alternator and battery because I was able to get a better deal than at the dealership. Unfortunately, I ended up not wanting the service anymore (after the parts had already been on track for delivery and the mechanics had already begun working on my car). Although this was an inconvenience for the store, I was still treated extremely nicely and with respect. I appreciate that. Thank you!

This location ALWAYS takes care of me and keeps the high prices as low as possible. Israel (the manager probably) is always helpful. Treats my car like his own.

The worst. I did my due diligence and set an appointment the night before only to wait almost 3 hours for an oil change. I didn't have a ride so I was stuck there. Why not just indicate that setting an appointment won't help? Or a discount for having to wait so long? A nightmare. I definitely won't be back.
