I chose this Exer location because of their high reviews and I had a very disappointing experience: Last Saturday, I drove from Culver City to this location for 30 minutes just because of their higher reviews in comparison with Marina de Ray location. I arrived at 8:15pm but the receptionist told me that she can not accept me because the last patient is already registered and they don't accept any new patients for the rest of the day. I found this response very disappointing because their website shows that are open till 8:30pm, the physicals sign in front of their place clearly says "Last Patient Registered at 8:30pm" and another sign on reception counter says the physicians work till 9pm. When I arrived, I was the only patient in the lobby. I explained to the receptionist that it took me 30 minutes to reach this place and my visit will be very quick as I just want a prescription for my coughing. She checked with the on site doctors and told me they are not willing to accept me. I left the clinic before 8:30pm (took an image when I was leaving) and funny enough, the patient who was inside the doctor's room also left the clinic with me. So basically the doctors didn't have any patients before 8:30pm, but he did't visit me while theoretically he would work till 9pm. It was my very first time visiting this place which unfortunately it turned out to be a very disappointing experience. I would expect more ownership from the onsite doctors. So, apparently the reviews are not accurate....

There was some wait to be seen, but the the quality of the Dr. care and expertise more then made up for that. The location and parking was easy to use. The fact that he took a whole care of my needs approach made it one of my better Doctor visits.

The front desk staff was very nice, and the medical assistant and doctor were great. However, the waiting room was cold, and the exam room was colder. Also it was a two-hour wait, but I was not told that until I had waited already 1 hour. They said I could go to Rolling Hills and be seen right away. That should have been told to me when I first came in. There were only three people when I got there so I thought the wait would be short.

Update: best urgent care. THE NICEST STAFF! Lisa who had been my nurse here twice is the kindest and most reassuring person. She just makes you feel so much better physically and mentally ( when you are 30 weeks pregnant and coming to urgent care often, it’s really really wonderful to have that)

Most insurance will cover the cost and provide unlimited testing. It depends on the type of insurance you have. I would suggest calling your insurance provider to find out. As far as how long it takes that also depends on how many patients the facility is testing per day. I went there for a rapid test expecting to have results within 24 hrs and I did not get my results until 2 days later!

How soon do we get the results? Is this a self test? Is it a deep probe test?

You will be screened by our provider, who recommends the appropriate test for you. The results could be 24 hours or up to 3 days at least. It depends on how busy the lab is. We normally have patients do a self-swab giving them instructions on how to do so in order to get a good sample. This is the best way to not spread COVID-19. If needed, our provider can do the test. It does require the swab to go up fairly high in the nostril.
