Horrible customer service. Been trying to call and reschedule my tickets (no refund policy) for weeks as I knew I would no longer be able to go. No one ever answers the phone. Finally decided to leave a message the day of (maybe should’ve left a message earlier but someone should be available during operating hours to answer the phones ) I get a call back and lady says they are unable to do anything unless it’s 72 hours prior to class time. Again I didn’t want a refund just to come at another date.

Great place to go if you want to get yelled at while making toilet food. Went in June for a Paella and Sangria class with a friend, who claimed their mother came to a 101 class and was happy, despite "attitude issues" but still had fun. I was prepared for such an attitude issue but completely blind-sided as the Instructor was very rude, verbally abusive and was obnoxiously critical against fellow class members. They were especially critical of people's knife skills and appeared to use that as a way to shame / upsell people into taking their 101 and Knife Skill classes despite some of the cutlery being dull and others having grease and food crusted on. The food sounded good but my mind was blown on how such fresh / fancy ingredients could be made to taste so cheap. I hope they take a moment to take a good and hard look at how they conduct themselves and how the customers are treated. I know the pandemic put a lot of strain on places like this but there comes a time to get a grip on reality and cease the unwarranted hostility. Word of advice, treat people with respect and don't insult them to sell more classes. Keep your utensils honed and CLEAN and If you are going to offer a subpar class, reduce the price so people don't feel as ripped off. -Updated per your request-

I'm sure this is a fine school as a few friends spoke highly of the quality instruction they got. However, I'm quite disappointed in that they would not honor a Father's Day gift card because I missed the scheduled class. I called and asked if there was another class I can take (did not ask for a refund) and the lady explained the no credit policy and they allow a 72 hour cancellation. Then she compared that to buying a concert ticket and missing the show and how you wouldn't get a refund for that etc. Not quite the same. But whatever. I was honest at least in telling why I missed the class and didn't make up some lie that I was sick or out of town or something, but she kept going on about if the school was to issue credit for every missed class, they would be giving out make up classes for a long time. Ok...so you take someone's money for a gift card / class and not offer anything in return? Is that even legal? Fantastic customer service! Updated 8/11/2021: Response to the owner's reply 2 years later. HA! You are no longer held hostage. The review will stand as is. Yes, I agreed to everything you said and I acknowledged that over the phone and admitted it was an oversight on my part. Two years later, I forgot you even exist. I can give 2 flying rats less about you or your school especially 2 years later. I am nothing to you. And you are nothing to me. Carry on! Best of luck.

My husband and I took an artisan pizza class and Chef Annette expended the menu to include flatbread. The wide variety of topping included ingredients I would not have chosen, but were unique and delicious. I’m a decent cook, but after this class, my game is definitely up a notch by the experience of seeing a ‘real’ chef at work. Annette is a delightful, entertaining instructor and a virtual fountain of culinary wisdom and wizardry. The location is both spacious and intimate. We enjoyed a special (and filling) date night full of learning, laughter and great food. Take a class here - any class - and you will too!

Hi. We are not a culinary school that teaches people for careers. We are a recreational cooking school for home cooks.
