You will be screened by our provider, who recommends the appropriate test for you. The results could be 24 hours or up to 3 days at least. It depends on how busy the lab is. We normally have patients do a self-swab giving them instructions on how to do so in order to get a good sample. This is the best way to not spread COVID-19. If needed, our provider can do the test. It does require the swab to go up fairly high in the nostril.
The results typically take 3 hours. They post them for you on their online portal and will follow up with a call if the test is positive. The test that I had was the deep swab administered in my car by a medical practitioner.
