The best ingredients in all of san francisco, the wigs are a ste above. Only 4 stars because there wasn't any cold Shiner Bock to wash it down with. Just a little expensive for my liking, very good tho!

Haystack goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. Their food is lovely, the main courses are incredibly filling and very well prepared.

My family has been eating at Haystack since the 1970s and it’s better than ever; huge antipasto salad, generous pasta, and a perfect large Haystack special pizza with light, chewy, crunchy crust. Six people and could not finish everything. Carafe of Chianti was just fine too. Great neighborhood spot.

I love their Pizza & mushrooms dish! I tried to replicate their mushroom dish at home but that was nearly impossible. The service is good and rather quick.
