Do not rent from this place at all. The other reviews are consistent. This place is as shoddy as ever. They skipped a scheduled final inspection. The copper pipes still need to be replaced, and there are multiple layers of paint that peel. The maintenance staff was very good though.

The office manager of this complex is over the top rude! She did not even want to listen to what I was trying to ask her and just went off on me like no other. She yelled at me in front of a construction worker and waved me off with her hand like "just go away!" I have never been treated so badly in my life. She needs help and shouldn't be in a position where she deals with customers in any way shape or form. A bad representative of Cypress Point apartments. I told her I was going to report her to her manager and she waved me off again saying " go ahead, tell my manager"!

i rent the apt for 10 months and the office deducted my deposit for over 3000 bucks without any words, only after I asked them the reason, they said the oven and refrigerator were broke. They didn’t response our request to provide evidence. Just before we move out, the oven and refrigerator were working well and we hired a cleaning lady to clean the apartment. If they are really broke, we are willing to pay for it if we could see the bill and evidence! DO NOT rent Cypress point!! The office never response, deduct as many deposit as they want!!!

DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT RENTING AN APARTMENT HERE!!!!! I had an extremely negative experience from beginning to end. First of all, Elaine is extremely condescending, rude, and takes advantage of first time and young renters. Upon move-in, it was clear that the apartment had serious mold and trapped moisture issues. Elaine rushed through our move-in inspection, probably hoping that we would overlook some issues. The carpet was soaking wet because they had kept the windows closed after it had been cleaned. When we brought the issue to the attention of management, Elaine gave us a box of carpet fresh with only about 1/4 of the container left to "get rid of the smell." I was far more concerned about getting sick from the obvious mold. When we moved in, Elaine also made a point to say that the apartment had been "professionally" painted, but it was obvious that this was not the case as there were paint drips all over the floor in the bathroom and kitchen. In the winter, mold developed around the window in the bedroom and the sliding glass door in the living room. When we asked maintenance about it, they said it was just something we had to keep under control with bleach. Maybe if they had installed double-paned windows or updated the aging apartments in any way, it wouldn't be so much of an issue. The carpets were always damp in the winter, and nothing ever dried out in this apartment, especially towels in the bathroom or dishes in the kitchen. Depending on where your apartment is located, you will either be boiling hot and in direct sun or (in our case) never see the true light of day. The kitchen and bathroom were always dark, no matter what time of day it was. The shower never kept the same temperature for more than 30 seconds at a time, and the toilet clogged extremely easily. We consistently had to unclog our toilet once or twice a day. If you try to adhere anything to the wall, huge paint chunks will come off when removing these items because they slap a new coat of paint on every time someone moves out. They increased the price of laundry in the middle of the pandemic when people were doing their worst financially. They recently were taken over by a new leasing company and seem to have replaced the entire leasing office staff - thank god. The bar set by the previous management was so low that I was pleased to learn the new staff was actually conscientious and pleasant when I interacted with them. But at least the old management picked up the phone when I called the office! It has been such a nightmare trying to move out of this place. I had to schedule a move-out inspection for three separate dates because they "lost" the paperwork for the first two. When it came time for the third attempt at an inspection, I called to make sure they hadn't forgotten, and they had once again! I was able to schedule one for two days after this third date, which happened to be a Sunday. It was scheduled for 10AM and I was told to arrive at the office at 9:45. They neglected to understand their own operating hours because they don't open until 11AM on Sundays. At this point I had already moved into a new place, so they wasted an hour of my Sunday morning. When I came back to the office at 11AM, I was told that they didn't have any maintenance staff onsite and that they don't do inspections on Sundays. Then why did they schedule my inspection for a Sunday in the first place?! Since my lease was up the next day, I turned in my keys and was told that an inspection would happen that week. It's been nearly two months since my lease ended and they still haven't returned my security deposit. I'm not even sure that an inspection ever happened, as I haven't received an itemized list of repairs either. I even gave them my forwarding address. I call them about once a week to check in, and they almost never return my calls. I've been more than lenient and beyond flexible with their both legal obligation and treatment of me and am having to take legal action just to get what is owed to me.
