If you are looking for a clean and quiet place to stay overnight in the area of New York State, this hotel is for you. The rooms are modern and comfortable. The indoor pool was warm and enjoyable after a long day.

I stay in Holiday Inn Express often and this location did not provide the experience that I am used to. Upon arrival the ac was turned off in my room and there was a very musty smell. The room, particularly the bathroom was not super clean. The counter and mirror has visible streak marks from wiping and the shower had dark grout. There were no towels in my room besides 3 washcloths and a hand towel. The sink came up to my breastbone [I am 5 foot 5] and it was impossible to wash my face or get water into my mouth. I have never seen such a high sink anywhere. I was in a king room on the 4th floor. The breakfast was okay but again, not up to par for this chain. The hallways were warm and the elevators were hot.

The milk for breakfast was expired, I almost drank it. The room next to my room had the TV on very loud from 9pm till the day after 7am when i left. I asked the front desk to take care of it but they did not. There's a sign in bathroom indicating that asking for toothpaste is complementary but they charged me for it.

The hotel was nice. Clean room and pool. The elevators decided when they wanted to work and not. A few times we had to take the stairs to the third floor. Fine for us since we’re young. The worst part for us was housekeeping coming in to our room 3 times in the morning while we were sleeping because they thought we left.. check out isn’t until 12 but they don’t make you feel very welcome. Definitely double lock the doors.
