A classic favorite of mine. Has something for everyone when it comes to nature lovers or even just those who like to dip their toes in nature. There's a small loop path around the reservoir, a shorter and longer trail through the woods (where you might glimpse some deer, etc.), there's access to little fishing spots along the reservoir, little areas for small little cookouts or gatherings... overall a great spot with nice views, plants, and wildlife. There is water, so be sure to bring bug spray. Ample parking for the most part. Take it very slow driving in and out. There's usually a couple other parties there, but nothing crazy packed that I've ever seen. & it's pretty easy to get solitude on the trails if that's what you're looking for. Also, there's conveniently a very clean porta potty available, which is a huge plus.

Pretty neat place. Only went for about an hour and saw about a tenth of what the place has to offer. Want to teach my daughter to fish and spoke to a couple guys there who said they normally are able to catch fish just too early. Awesome place for pictures and a nice walk. Seems like lots of carved out trails for a nice easy hike. Pet friendly and nice views. Bring bug spray

Beautiful park to take our dogs for a walk. Trails are wide/open enough. Quiet. The reservoir is nice

Good fun for a quick mountain bike ride. Certainly beginner friendly with a couple of intermediate spots to mix it up. Still a great workout for more advanced riders in the area looking to sneak a ride in!

Yes there's several that go through the woods and a loop around the reservoir as well. Great running trails.
There's a good size gravel parking lot upon entrance. Be careful of the potholes in and out
You cannot bring a vehicle past the parking lot without clearance for camping purposes, for which you need to contact the city
Yes you have to contact the city and they will let you know the ins and outs.
