Just went in thinking about buying a cat, found one we was thinking about buying. We was asking how much the cat was and itβs name, they didnβt tell us, they told us to get an application which is fine. Then they asked for my landlords number and I told her we just want the information on the cat we donβt know if we are going to buy it. She calls my landlord anyways, so now my landlord thinks I have a cat which I do not because the front desk person wanted to call even though I was just wanting the information.

They have done an outstanding job at helping my mother with her many cats and being kind and taking care of her and her animals!

Great staff willing to take time to have educational classes for teens. Chemung SPCA it's teamed up with other shelters, helping find forever homes, lessening the burden on other shelters.

Thanks for asking! We only take in and adopt out dogs and cats.
Hi Michele, Thanks for inquiring! Visit this link and complete the form at the bottom of the page: https://www.chemungspca.org/vaccine-clinics.html.
I believe you have to schedule it on their website. I would call first and verify due to changes from time to time. We recently just had our puppy scheduled.
Not that I know of
Do u have dog training
I'm sure there is but I would definitely call spca, they are wonderful people
Yes they charge you to surrender
Hi Alicia, It'd be best to call us to talk about the dog's behaviors. We not only consider the wellbeing of the one dog, but we also need to take into account the safety and wellbeing of the community (people and other animals). It'd be most helpful to speak directly with you to understand what types of aggressive behaviors the dog exhibits. When you can, give us a call M,T,Th,F,Sa (11-4): 607-732-1827.
Hello Bryon, we do accept dogs from their owners if the family is no longer able to provide a home for the dog. Please review this page: https://www.chemungspca.org/surrendering-an-animal.html. Then, call us at 607-732-1827.
You can adopt cats or kittens there that is where i got my adorable fur baby from
She has an allergy to either food or something in the air. Try bathing her with dawn dish liquid and use purina one cat food. It can either be dry or wet
Hi Kay, Thank you for inquiring! Unfortunately, all our employees must be at least 18 years of age.
Please visit this link for information about our S/N programs https://www.chemungspca.org/snap.html
Please follow this link for detail on the adoption process https://www.chemungspca.org/adopt.html And please give us a call at 732-1827 regarding any questions you have regarding Larry. Thank you!
Definitely yes to the blankets, but I'm not sure about comforters. Give them a call - they're great.
Unfortunately, we do not have a staff veterinarian to provide services to non-shelter animals.
Call first thing Monday
I don't believe so at the moment
I did that on tuesday but got no answer
Oooo, good question? They may depending upon size of bag and how much is left. I'd imagine they would take any donation, but it would be best to call to find out for sure. Check their website for a number.
Their website or go into the shelter and pick one up!
I tried keeping it on my closed in porch but my dogs scare it I'm narrowing my daughters kennel tonight and going to try to get it in I just don't want it out in the storm I think I can get a ride to bring it tomorrow but I'm really hoping someone will rescue it for a forever home but it definitely can not stay out there with the snow so I have to something fast I wished I did earlier because there was two of them and the other one hasn't been around I dont know what happened to it but I will let you know tomorrow if I need help getting it to the shelter thank you so much
They are. But you need to submit an application to get a spot on the clinic schedule. Please follow this link - https://www.chemungspca.org/snap.html There is a link at the bottom of the page for the application, which can be either mailed or submitted electronically.

To get my dog fixed on the low income program
We are so sorry to hear of the misfortune. Truly sorry. If the new owners would like to contact us we can update our records to reflect the change in ownership. Wishing you the best of luck for a brighter future.
Last time i was there for spay and neutering program it was cash or check .
Not sure. I do not believe so. It is a pet adoption agency's location. If you call, they may be able to suggest businesses for you. I do know of a few.
It depends on if they happen to have one at the time. As with all shelters, they don't have any control over the animals that come to them.
Generally, you can see all the dogs they have online. You can also call them during business hours if you have additional questions
I am not sure I understand your question. If you have a concern, contact them immediately.
16 or older
Best bet is to go and fill one out because I have applied online 3 times and never have heard from anyone.
Animal shelters are always over-flowing with animals including dogs such as puppies stop by at different rescue organizations in the area and Iβm sure you can find one. If there isnβt one when you look then ask the shelter stuff to contact you once they get one :)
