@kansascitymuseum is a beautiful and informative way to spend an afternoon. The first floor is all about the Long family who owned and built the home, the second floor is all KC history, the third floor is an art exhibition floor, and the basement has a billiard room (where you can play pool) & a future soda fountain shop. Once the cafe and soda fountain shop are open this will be a place that you can truly spend a full day exploring all about KC. Also plan time to walk around the neighborhood, there are some beautiful homes to look at.

A perfect size museum for me bezza it's easy to get through it with out a full day commitment. If you are like the princess and want to read everything I guess you might spent a few days here but it's not necessary to enjoy this venue. Recently restored the Kansas City museum is quite beautiful and a special place to be sure and visit when you can. Although not completely finished the recent renovation is fantastic as an attempt has been made to bring it back to original grandeur. The section devoted the Kansas City history was the most interesting for me. Donations are requested at the door and although appreciated not required as admission as well as the parking are free.

Very nice museum and history of Kansas City. The house is in excellent condition after the renovation. All of the spaces were in pristine condition. Our favorite part was in the basement. They have a game room set up for people to use. There's pool, Chinese checkers, checkers, tic tac toe, and chess. We had a great time exploring and learning about KC. We want to come back next year when the restaurant is open.

Very cool! This is gonna be even better when they get the Cafe and soda fountain working, exquisite rooms on the first floor. Exhibits on the upper two. Great views of the city from the 3rd floor. My personal favorite exhibit details the demographics and history of the northeast neighborhoods.

The museum is going through an amazing overhaul and will be incredible when it reopens. I can't wait, but it will be a couple years, I believe
Yes it did..I remember as a kid it freaked me out
I was there the last day before it closed and I believe they said the renovation would take a couple of years.
It'll be open again shortly and is open for special events! Check their website
