I was calling because my husband injured his foot quite seriously and wanted to know if we should come there or urgent care. I was put on hold for over 20 minutes. HORRIBLE way to treat people in need of medical attention.

My girlfriend went in to get checked out and get a chest x-ray because we believe she has pneumonia. She is vary congested, coughing, and having difficulty breathing which you can hear for a few feet away. The primary James Forrest had claimed she was completely fine and showed no signs of pneumonia or even having trouble breathing, and refused to do a chest x-ray and decided, he was going to test for covid and nothing else just specifically covid. He had seemed shocked when he seen she wasn't vaccinated and told her she absolutely had to get if she wanted to live. What kind of self respecting doctor tells a person that they are perfectly fine when they are clearly not, and demands that a person gets a vaccine that they don't want claiming they will die if they don't get it. This place and Dr James Forrest are both a complete joke.

We are following local and state government and health department guidelines for COVID-19 vaccine distribution. For the first doses of vaccine available, front-line healthcare workers have been prioritized. As vaccine appointments are made available in your community, additional information will be shared. Not that I know of.
If someone is experiencing severe mental distress, care shouldn’t be delayed. A person experiencing a mental health crisis should go directly to the emergency room or call 911. ERs at Ascension hospitals are open 24/7, offering compassionate care for urgent mental health crisis intervention. And rest assured that safety precautions are in place to help protect patients and families.
While you don’t need an appointment at our urgent care and walk-in locations, you have the option of scheduling your visit online. You can select a time in the next 24 hours at a location that’s close to you, then wait in the comfort of your home.
Our urgent care clinics offer online check-in for patients so you can wait somewhere you feel more comfortable or walk in anytime.
Our urgent care clinics are ready to provide the care patients need in one place. Lab and imaging are available onsite.
We have fully staffed urgent cares to take care of your needs and to help reduce the time from door to doctor.
Because we’re more than urgent care, we can connect you to the follow-up care that’s right for you. We have a large network of specialists and a broad range of care options, so you can find a doctor that meets your needs.
Typically an urgent care visit will cost less than an ER visit, but this may depend on many factors, such as insurance coverage and/or the services required to address your health needs. Your co-pay and out-of-pocket costs at an urgent care clinic are typically much less than what you are charged at the emergency room.
Ascension urgent care teams treat common, non life-threatening, minor illnesses and injuries, including allergies, fever, severe sore throat, allergic reactions, asthma, cuts, back pain, minor burns and rash, bug and animal bites, cold and flu symptoms, sinus pain and ear infections, headaches, muscle sprains, strains and swollen joints, strep throat, pink eye, and UTI (urinary tract infections).
Ascension Online Care is available 24/7 when and where you need urgent care. If you can’t talk to your regular doctor, or if you need care more quickly, you can video chat with a doctor 24/7 through Ascension Online Care using your smartphone, tablet or laptop. Download Ascension Online Care from the App Store or Google Play or visit ascension.org/onlinecare to learn more.
Our urgent care teams are comprised of doctors, APRNs (advanced practice registered nurses), nurse practitioners and nurses.
When you need care more immediately and your regular doctor isn’t available, you may be trying to decide between urgent care or an emergency room. For life-threatening emergencies and serious illness or injury, such as shortness of breath, chest pain, open fractures or severe bleeding, go to an emergency room. When you need care for minor illness or injury, such as allergies, fevers, cuts without severe bleeding that may need stitches or a severe sore throat, and your doctor isn’t available, seek urgent care. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, go directly to the ER or dial 9-1-1.
