I arrived 2 days, unexpectedly, after the readmittance of my sister to Healthcare Resort, from hospital, to find my sister laying in disarray, flat in bed, with hospital gown half off. I have photos. The next morning she was dressed, sitting in her wheelchair. Possibly my presence was influential. I want to commend speech therapist Stephanie, occupation therapist,Tiffany, and especially nurse Brittany for their excellent care. I would like to thank nurse Teresa on being so attentive, proactive and communicating with me by phone. Marsha in the dining room was very accimmodating.

It has taken me a while to place a post about the Healthcare resort because of the negative way I feel about them. Some of the staff members were truly wonderful to my mom but the ones who treated my mom so bad I hope that one day someone will treat you as you did her. The only other thing I will say is if you love you family member please make sure you watch what the staff does at all times, my mom has passed and she left this earth with a black eye and knot on her forehead all because they wouldn't answer her call light to go to the bathroom.. They shut her door so they couldn't hear her asking for help.. I would never recommend anyone to place their family member at the Healthcare resort.

I have worked at the Healthcare Resort of KCK for a little under a year now. I can honestly say that the staff whole-heartedly cares about the residents who are here for both long term care and rehab stays. Love being apart of this team.
