Terrible Staff!!! Rude!!! I had many problems when visiting Dr. Sandman. I was charged $400.00 to be able to book the appointment. When I arived I was charged $200.00 more before seeing the Doctor, saying that the cost was $600.00. Before I left I asked for a copy of my detailed charge to be able to present to my Insurance and Laura tells me she was not able to give it to me at that moment and that she would send it by e mail. The Doctor prescribed some medicines but they never sent the order to the Pharmacy! I called and the girl in charge of sending them said they had been having problems with the system and that she would re send. Nothing happened. I called again 1 day before I had to leave (I am an international Patient) and asked to speak to the Manager. WOW!! To my surprise she was RUDE RUDE RUDE! She started giving excuses saying they had sent the prescriptions to the Paharmacy and that I should talk to the people at the Pharmacy ENERGICALLY. She did not mention anything about a systems problem. I then asked her for my itemized bill. They had not sent the e mail either. She then tells me it is ILLEGAL to send me my bill by e mail. So Laura tells me she will send it and the manager now says it is ILLEGAL. They need to get their game straight! In addition to this, a few days later I find out they charged another extra two hundred and something dollars to my credit card without informing me. Yes, for a total of over 800 dollars for a visit. The truth is that this office is in the business of collecting money from patients and are not interested in providing health, medicines or any kind of health for their patients. I was referred to Urology Specialty Care of Miami by the International Department at the Baptist Hospital. I have informed them about this situation. After I wrote my review online, I started to read ALL OF THE BAD REVIEWS from other Patients. They are all saying the same!! Prescriptions not being sent to the Pharmacy, Ovecharging for their services, the rudness of their staff etc. I would not recommend visiting Urology Specialty Care of Miami.

The Center facilities are spacious, modern and efficient. The receptionists go out of their way to help. Very caring and professional; always with a smile. The physician is knowledgeable and experienced in his field. Punctual; we were at his office exactly at the time of the appointment. He was very thorough in his examination and upfront on the findings (or lack of). Thank you so much.

The office staff was very efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. I liked that I was able to register as a new patient via my mobile phone. Upon completing registration, I was quickly called into a room and was seen by Dr. Sandman shortly thereafter. Dr. Sandman was very knowledgeable and put all of my concerns at ease. He was thorough and clearly outlined all required next steps. The checkout and quick and easy. I highly recommend this center.

Was able to make an appointment in a reasonable amount of time given the urgency. Staff is great - from registration to medical assistants. Really like Dr. Sandman. He’s kind and upbeat and put one at ease. Valet parking.
