The Stanley Event Space

I have never rented the space, but have been to a few events there. It is a charming setting, with both original, preserved features, and newer ones made to look authentic. But the layout for a group of almost 200 for a wedding reception makes for a crowded, challenging, almost claustrophobic feel. Twice I have ended up at a table near the bar, and have had to stand while the line died down before I could even take a seat. I wish they could take advantage of other areas of the building for bar service and food tables.

It's nice. However, it makes no difference if you don't care about the needs of military families and rummage through paying customers' luggage. You are off the list. I'm sure it's expensive. The negative far outweighs positive. There are tons of beautiful places in this city that will let you have fun and respect the military service members

I cannot say enough good things about The Stanley and their entire staff! Such a beautiful venue and they were amazing to work with from A to Z. Throughout the entire process of planning our nonprofit's gala event, with COVID delays it meant we worked with them on and off for over 18 months. They were so patient with our staff changes and handled all of the regulations changes with such grace...keeping us informed every step of the way. We just completed our gala event and one of the top compliments by our guest was how beautiful the venue was. Cindy and their entire team was so accommodating and nice even when we had last minute changes. I cannot thank them enough for every moment they provided us with such grace and excellent service. I highly recommend The Stanley for events of all types. A great family owned business well deserving of our support!!

The Stanley Event Space was the perfect venue for our wedding! We were looking for a venue that had 2 separate areas for the ceremony and reception and they had several gorgeous options. The venue is just absolutely beautiful! Jennifer was so helpful through the process and made planning a wedding seem easy! She was super responsive and answered all my questions and provided suggestions as well. On the day of the wedding, we couldn't be any happier! It went so smooth! Sarita, the event coordinator, was amazing! Her experience and knowledge were key during the wedding; directing vendors, putting up day of decorations, etc... She made everything move so seamlessly! The venue was gorgeous and the staff were so helpful in every way! We couldn't have picked a better venue! We felt so special and would HIGHLY recommend the Stanley event space for any wedding or event!
