Monica's School of Dance

I have been connected to Monica's School of Dance for over 30 years now. My daughter started at age 3 and received all the technique and skills needed to succeed to make high school, college dance teams and even Chiefs Cheerleader. To this day My daughter still gets together with her troupe friends she has known since they were six. My granddaughters now dance there and already succeeding in solo and duo competitions as well as their respective classes. This is a great studio for any type of dance and life long friends.

Taking dance at Monica's as a child, I always envisioned my daughter dancing there. I was further away from the studio once I became a mother, so I spent 3 years at another studio. What a waste! Once we joined Monica's there was such an improvement in memory, technique, and my daughter actually was/is excited to go to class. We drive 45 minutes to get there, but it's well worth it! I highly recommend bringing your child here to learn and love dance!!

My daughter had spent 11 years at a different dance studio and decided that she wanted to try competitive dance. Monica texted me personally to set up a time for my daughter to go in and try it out. She LOVES it. She is there for 11 hours each week and is excited to go every night. The staff has been amazing, the other dancers have been welcoming and Monica has been wonderful to work with. She cares about her dancers and wants to make them the best they can be.

All three of my girls have been dancing at Monica's since the age of 2 1/2. My oldest is in the competition troupe and has been since age 4. She LOVES dance so much and I attribute this to Monica's high quality instruction and passion for the art of dance. My youngest girls enjoy recreational dance and are currently in hip hop. Monica has a genuine love and unprecedented talent for performing and teaching. My oldest daughter is envied by many children from school because of her natural poise and dance ability at such a young age. She also has excellent confidence from dance, which carries over to all other areas of her life (education, sports, social skills, etc). Monica is also a very kind, down to earth person who teaches her students respect for other dancers. Monica's dancers normally dominate at the competitions we attend, and despite how other studios behave, she has high expectations of her dancers to be kind and courteous to all the other dancers at the competition. Monica is confident enough in her own abilities and the integrity of her dancers/parents that she does not require anyone to sign any type of contract to be in competitive dance, as most places do. Monica's School of Dance is the best studio around in my opinion!
