I am from Canada and have used Urgent Care twice. Both experiences were excellent. The standard of care was fabulous with excellent communication and discussion of treatment options. In one case I got a treatment that is not even offered in Canada. It dramatically improved my condition immediately. This is my go to clinic when I am doing business or vacationing in Fort Lauderdale.

Avoid this place at all cost. They are the car salesmen of Doctors. Be very aware that if they say you need bloodwork, they will charge you for it but they will not discuss the results with. If you try to call, they insist you come in. Once you go in BAM another office visit charge. Oh and they do not send prescriptions to the pharmacy. So guess what ? If you need to pick up your prescriptions, ANOTHER office fee. Absolutely disgusting.

One of the worst Urgent care facility I have ever been to with respect to admin staff . They are clueless about insurance & I was charged upfront for PCR test even though as per my insurance provider , it is covered in insurance. Above all, they haven't submitted the claims to my insurance yet.Last 2 weeks have been trying to call them but the staff just put me to indefinite hold & then disconnect when they come to know about an issue. Worst staff I have ever dealt with. Ultimately, had to escalate to my insurance company to intervene. The 2 stars are for the pediatric doctor , she was good.

It’s a quick decision: your body is suddenly racked with pain. But where do you go, to the doctor’s office or the emergency room? The difference between urgent care and emergency rooms is the severity of the health problem. If the condition is life-threatening, go to an emergency room. If the condition is a minor illness or injury, take advantage of the convenience and affordability of Instant Medical Care - Urgent Care Walk In Clinic has to offer!
The fact is that urgent care clinics are very affordable alternatives to hospitals. Best of all, there’s usually no wait time and appointments aren’t needed for the most part. Anyone can walk in and get treatment. Economic reasons aside, the cost varies greatly from person to person. Urgent care typically charges you by your co-pay and the level of treatment you receive. As a rough estimate, you should expect to spend anywhere from $50 to $150 for an urgent care visit, but this really depends on several variables.
The urgency of the situation may have a bigger impact on your decision as to when to visit the doctor than you expect. Most people choose an urgent care clinic over a general practitioner because they believe it will be less crowded and they can get in and out more quickly. And, for the most part, this is true. Also, consider clinics which are open particularly on Saturdays such as Instant Medical Care
