I do highly recommend this facility. I was seen within 20-30 minutes the two times I had to go while on vacation. Staff were friendly and especially helpful. They helped me find a pharmacy and worked out my insurance quickly despite being an out of state carrier. The provider saw me with minimal wait in the exam room. She was nice and competent. My only criticism would be I would have appreciated my condition and plan being explained in some detail. Thank y’all for helping me so much!!

Tried to make me to pay out of pocket for entire visit plus 125 just to walk in. I have blue cross PPO and a co- pay of only 40 dollars. They said they’d reimburse me after? I always pay 40 per visit and rest is covered.

I went for a fast COVID PCR test for travel purposes. By phone they confirmed they accept Florida Blue, but when I arrived they said "oh we don't accept your plan". I paid $189 cash for the 24-hour PCR test, which did actually come back in less than 24 hours. However, I then saw that the LAB (Genome) billed my insurance for $150 for the PCR test. I called Genome and they explained that BMUC didn't send them any of my $189 payment to cover the test. Which tells me that Broward Medical & Urgent Care charged me $189 just for the nasal swab test and office visit. And the front desk staff were not the most friendly or helpful. There are equally fast, lower cost COVID test options in Broward that can be covered by insurance. In fact, you can schedule a 24-hour PCR swab test directly with Genome in Hollywood.

Excellent service and very accommodating. All the staff were very pleasant despite the fact they were very very busy with all of the holiday travelers, like us, who needed to get COVID tested. Highly recommend. Results arrived as promised.
