This location has its up's and down's, depending on the day of the week, however, today things went so smooth, I felt the need to share. My wife had a large box she needed to send to her Mother for Mother's Day, which happened to be two months ago. Surprisingly, the line was actually moving even though there was only one person working (not surprising) around lunch time. As customers needed to fill stuff out, the Postal Worker, Chris, asked them to do it at the next station over so he could remain efficient by helping the next customer who was ready. I realize this happens there often, but today it was actually working like it should. As we waited, I noticed the wife had not sealed up the box very well and before we could even ask, Chris let us know he had some tape we could use to fix the bad job the wife had done. Right there on the counter they sell tape, but he offered to let us use his. It may have only been a couple dollars of savings, but it was really nice to have him offer something, as opposed to asking for more money. Chris explained the two options on shipping the box and in no time flat, our card was charged and the box was headed to Kentucky. I think we all loath the idea of going to the post office to mail or ship something, but Chris totally changed that perception today. Cheers G

Just horrible service. Went to check on what Fresno did with a package. Had to go to the back blue door. The manager needs a new job. Horrible customer service. Package is stuck or lost in Fresno, and the big manager would not call Fresno to inquire. I guess I can be grateful that I was given a phone number to Fresno. Tried calling, but office was closed (Saturday mind you ). Lesson is to pay extra for UPS or FedEx, and get your packages on time instead of lost/stuck in Fresno.

Gigantic, official sign out front directing you to rear of building for parcel/mail pickup. Get there, park, door is locked. Tattered, handwritten sign hanging off door says to go to main entrance. Go to main entrance and up to Pick Up counter. Discover another loose sign saying to wait in line for pick up. Line is across the lobby and out the lobby door. 20 minute wait. Exactly 2 clerks working out of the 4 available stations. Thing is.... I can’t really claim surprise. But, seriously, only a government operation can be this comically mismanaged yet still exist.

I've been to this post office many many times and I have always had a great experience. They usually have an additional employee standing at the entrance who is ready to answer any of your shipping questions. I'll admit this can be a little annoying sometimes, but I'd rather have too much attention than not enough.
