A little rough entrance but great views ahead!!!

Cool place to off-road. Plenty of entry level trails throughout with offshoots of advanced hill climbs. Heads up, North side of the trails gets pretty hairy!

Great place to camp or just have a picnic for an off road day. Keep in mind however that the staging area has changed and the first section of campground is now permanently closed for restoration. Nonetheless beautiful campground!

Great fun, beautiful sights, and there's a restroom. My family had a blast coming up here. It's only 30 min from my place, and I was surprised there was wifi. I wasn't too thrilled about that, since I wanted the kids to play go explore instead of being on their tablets, but it was quite cold (36º). Next time I'm making sure they don't sneak them in their backpacks.

Not down at the bottom but if you go up to the pinnacles there's snow. Silver wood about the same as Miller just on the opposite side if the lake. They end up meeting at the same spot up top.
It's allowed. It's at the bottom of the page of the link. https://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/sbnf/recreation/ohv/recarea/?recid=74069&actid=32
Yes you can I believe you need a $5 Venture pass for each day and there are no campfires whatsoever
Yes red stickers season is enforced and they'll be checking. They ask for a forest pass for the day for $5
Legally, no. Register it and make sure it has a spark arrestor.
I don't believe so
Yes but there is lot mosquitoes. Take spray repelent.
We offroad from there to deep creek and you can fish there but cant use power bait and have to fill out a form with what you catch and drop it in the box.
I trailed a lot of trails in my 1000 razor with no problems its prety nice out there the staging area got small but i took my toyhauler it was tight but made it work just no over night it was not the same like years before.
Yes $5 for pass. If you go on the other side by the dam it's free. Lots parking but no bathrooms. Have fun
