This is in regards to the skilled nursing faculty. They are rude, do not even acknowledge you when you are waiting at the desk. They do not let the clients know anything that's going on with their care. They changed my friends room from red (exposed to covid) to yellow (tested negative) to green (in the clear) then back to yellow for no reason at all. He was in isolation so how did it go back to yellow? The social services representative was also very rude when. Asked why my friend can't go home. She made every excuse in the book. This place is horrible and needs to be seen by authorities.

The evening my grandmother got there around 9pm, there was a man in a wheel chair yelling out for the nurses, clearly distressed and not in his right mind. Within minutes he had pulled off his hospital gown, unlocked his wheelchair and before my eyes leaned forward and fell smack on the ground. My mom and I screamed for the nurses and they took their sweet time sauntering over to provide care. We should have known at that point to get my grandmother out of there ASAP. Do not let your loved one go here unless you can be there every single day to push for their care. The communication from this place was absolutely horrible until I started figuratively breaking down doors. There was no communication with the patient nor us as her family of her treatment plan, length of stay, etc. Really felt like they tried to keep her there as long as possible to milk Medicare for all it was worth. On top of it, things were not charted properly, if at all. She contracted Covid while she was there and despite comorbidities, was treated as asymptomatic when she had symptoms and qualified for additional treatment. It was like pulling teeth for weeks trying to get the doctor to communicate with us and provide proper care. The nurses here were good, but they are just so understaffed and not proactive in reaching out to the doctor. The therapists were also good, but had way too many patients to see. She went there to get better and to us it felt like she was held hostage and got worse. Check into what your insurance covers for in home health before turning your loved one to a place like this.

Skilled nursing is a well run, clean and safe facility. Excellent nursing staff. Great physical and occupational therapists. The CNA's are professional and kind. Call lights get answered within minutes, the food is delicious, a variety of activities and daily check-in visits from life enrichment team. Social worker is readily available, as is DON and administrator. If you require post hospitalization rehabilitation this is THE place to go.

I stayed at the skilled nursing facility at Bayshire Rancho Mirage recently. The property is very clean and well maintained. The food is good. And all the staff members are very nice and good at their jobs. The therapists worked with me every day to get me walking again. I would recommend this facility to anyone requiring nursing facilities.
