Let me begin by saying, my son's jacket, that we ordered, did not have the correct school color. Just take a look at the pictures. If you want to know what had happen...read on. So one day, my son and I decided to checkout the Letterman's jackets at JL Custom Jackets. We liked the quality of the samples they had on display, so we decided to order one. I had told the sales person that we did not have my son's letter. She said it was ok. She continued to say, we can complete the order and then you can drop off the letter later. I said, sounds great. She had shown us an album with different styles of Grand Terrace High School emblems. They were all blue (light blue). She then looked up on her computer to see what colors were on file for GTHS. So she noted, teal on the order form. She then pointed to a board with a lot of patches...she said, it'll be like that one over there. This board was a good 30 ft away. I saw a light blue patch up there. I said ok. As I guy (not talking for all guys) but if you tell me teal...I'm thinking a blue-ish teal. So, we completed the order. A couple days later, I dropped off my son's letter that he received from the school. About 3-4 weeks later, I received a call from JL Custom Jackets. The lady explained to me that the letter did not match the color on the jacket. I was thinking it was a slight shade difference. I didn't know it was a totally different color... a teal greenish color. She asked if I wanted a custom Letter to match the jacket (for $25 more). I said sure, still thinking it was just a slight shade difference. So, today, I went to go pick up the jacket. When they brought it out from the back, I could tell right away...that's not right. It was green...not blue. Yes, you might say it's my fault...that I didn't bring in my son's letter on the first day. But, these people and this place (JL Custom Jackets)...they are the PROFESSIONAL for letterman jackets...right? You literally get what you ask for. Over the past countless years, how many GTHS jackets have they made. I was told, they could NOT do anything for me to fix it... except for paying for another jacket in full. The lady there (Lindsey...I think that was her name) even told me...that they didn't even have the blue that matched the letter from the school. I will also be uploading I picture of a friend's jacket. She got blue...but if you look closely it's a different shade of blue. And that is what I thought they meant, the colors didn't match. Lindsey continued to say, teal is the official color that CIF has listed for GTHS. So if you're from GTHS, don't get your jacket here.

JL customs was very helpful in helping me make decisions to pick out my jacket and they did a fantastic job!

Lindsey @JL Custom Jackets in Moreno Valley was amazing! She was extremely informative & taught my son & I so much about Letterman Jackets & patches. She fit us in for an appt at closing time, around my son’s busy waterpolo schedule & didn’t rush the process & that means so much to me. She also designed a custom patch for my son. Can’t wait to see the results!

We purchased 3 Letterman jackets from JL. I highly recommend purchasing from them. You can find jackets for cheaper but the quality of JL is well worth the money. They take time listening what you need and offer suggestions. All our jackets were well worth the money spent and it does take time but seeing the end product is worth it.

You can take your patches or J L Custom can make them for you but it is going to be a little more expensive.
No they do not have classes. They make custom Letterman jackets.
the care and exellence is what costs but its sure worth it... jackets run 300 and they have the best leather and thats what they do their collars in not lambs wool etc...
Depends how many you need put on but usually minimum of 3 weeks.
I believe it's around $10 to add on patches.
