Yes, we are extremely understaffed despite having ads for hiring for over a year -- but I think most restaurants are in the same boat and some have closed for this reason. Thank you for your patience and understanding, and yes, Friday & Saturdays are our busiest days. We're glad that you enjoyed most of your food despite the wait. Thank you for your question! We are practicing all of the Safety Protocols mandated by the State of Virginia as well as the CDC. We are very thankful that our customers have been as diligent as our staff in following these guidelines. Customers must wear masks over their nose & mouth when not seated at their table. Staff must wear masks over their nose & mouth at all times (except when on break away from customers). Nothing is on the tables prior to the customer being seated. Hand sanitizer is at the front desk. Some tables and booths are closed for Social Distancing. Tables, chairs and condiment containers are disinfected between every customer. High touch surfaces such as door handles, push plates, countertops, bathroom handles are disinfected at least once an hour per VA Mandates & CDC guidelines.
