This hotel is a must stay. The staff is friendly and competent and the rooms are clean. Our company has stayed there for over 4 months working on a project and the staff makes every effort to accommodate our employees. Last minute adjustments to rooms has never been an issue. I especially give extra stars to Emily who is proactive on any upcoming issues or needs that she sees. Thank you!

Great! Clean,stylish,quite. Had very responsive and friendly staff. Bed was comfy and warm. The location is close to shopping and UVA. Parking was a breeze and the free breakfast was tasty, no typical hotel. The only complaint is that they need bigger and more fluffy pillows.

This is a really good choice if you have pets--so I give this hotel 4 stars for that. The staff was also nice. On the "con" side-- our room smelled so pungently of wet dog that I couldn't sleep. You can't open the windows to air it out. The room was very humid, too. The rooms have been renovated, but are already showing signs of wear-- the ceiling in the bathroom's paint was peeling pretty badly. The walls are fairly thin, so you can hear other people as you walk down the hallway. Breakfast was free (much appreciated), but just okay. This hotel was a good deal for the price.

The room was clean and comfortable. The memorable thing about this trip for me was that there was one staff member (Michael Kelsey) who, without bringing attention to himself, was approachable, courteous and busily ensuring guest needs were being met for the entire stay. I was not surprised later, when I called about and item that was left behind, that this was the person who answered the phone and again the encounter was a pleasant one. He seemed to be in charge, but only because he ran the place as if he had a personal commitment to the satisfaction of the guests.
