Terrible Attitude screwup medication’s that are very important and on top of it Manager is nasty to I’ve been in the hospital three times in the past 3 months because of the mistakes at a pharmacy that is unprofessional and refuse to give out their names. Don’t go hear if you want to stay alive.

Today April 26th 2022, my wife and I visited 2271 Richmond Ave. Staten Island, NY, 10314 RITE AID store and picked up my wife's cough medication, after picking the medication, we picked up a bottle of vinegar and walked to the self checkout section to pay and go home as my wife was not feeling well and was sick for 3 days. Since none of the self checkouts were working we proceed to stand behind the only customer that was being served at the only available cashier, at around 1.50pm a women came behind register number 5 till and said we can pay there. Her cashier number is 27445015, and soon as we placed the vinegar bottle on her cashier desk, she started speaking to us in a very rude manner saying "you shouldn't stand here and the line starts over there" I tried to explain repeatedly for 3 times that we tried to use the self checkouts and since that didn't work we waited behind the only customer that was being served. And that the line was empty. This women cut me off and asked us very angrily "Do you see those self checkout working" and proceed to angrily say "No they don't work". At this point my wife was coughing repeatedly and she was feeling sick and she was very sad because of this women's behavior. We kept quiet as I just wanted to take my wife home and tend to her. But after we paid for the bottle of vinegar and tried to walk out, this women again angrily said that us standing there creates problem for the store. And while we walked out she was speaking like she was mad. I called the store twice to complain about this angry employee but the Manger does not answer calls. This is the 1st time we picked up a prescription from this Rite Aid, and Boy oh boy what we really got wad Rude Aid. Even though the pharmacy crew here is good, we are changing our pharmacy from this to CVS as we don't want to see that angry women who disregarded that my wife was sick and angrily gave the worst customer service of our life.

Store is always clean, staff very friendly especially Stacey and Dawn who work In the pharmacy should be employee of the month, because she always goes out of her way to assist customers with, insurance issues.It would be nice if there was handicap parkingThanks for the kind words, Molivo!
