DO NOT PUT YOUR ELDERS HERE AND DO NOT WORK HERE. Unless you hate your elderly folks or you hate yourself. I have personally firsthand seen staff yell at residents for no reason, deny them care if they aren't behaving "correctly", physically abuse residents, and just flat out neglect them if they don't feel like doing the work. Staff are not properly trained and cannot perform any kind of live saving treatments such as Hiemlich or CPR. This has absolutely resulted in the death of at least one resident I know of. I, personally, have seen staff member Marissa Hernandez push a resident to the ground. There is constant infighting between the staff. They will steal things from each other. They will make false accusations. Dante Boone, the one responsible for activities in memory care has stolen items from other staff members and hid them. I know it's true because he told me so himself. He has also staged activities in the memory care unit for tours. I personally witnessed him stage an exercise class and then as soon as the visitors left he rounded up all his materials and disappeared. Mary Ventura, in charge of memory care as a whole has told me personally she knows a resident will become violent again and he will hurt someone. That resident remains in memory care still. There is blatant favoritism for managers spouses and children. Even though in the handbook it clearly states this is against their rules to even have family is positions of authority over the other family member. While working here my whole department was sick for about a month and forced to come to work or our bosses would verbally abuse and harass us. A month later we had to go into lockdown because of a rampant covid outbreak. Easily preventable if they had let sick staff stay home and recover instead of threatening to fire them if they didn't come in. This whole facility is rampant with so many issues it's impossible to name them all. Please do not work here. They STILL owe me money 3 months after I stopped working here. Please do not put your loved ones here. Unless you're looking to collect life insurance, in which case this place is the spot for you. I guarantee you your loved ones will live short and miserable lives if you put them here.

I love the caregivers at the Palms. They took such loving care of both my grandparents, but especially for my Grandpa Mike Herrera. He reached 102 years with their loving care. There's so many to name, but know that when you have them take care of your loved ones, they will be well cared for. Hospice care is amazing, and they kept my Grandpa at peace until his passing. My family so appreciated all their efforts. Thank you for all you did!
