Great and fast customer service. My garage door broke and I called Dean and he had a technician at my home within a few hours. I highly recommend.

I've had Dean Dlouhy out to work on my garage door a couple times now, fixing problems from a poor install by the contractors who built the house. He's been super easy to get a hold of and schedule, provided prompt service, works very hard and is super knowledgeable. His prices seem fair and he's upfront about the options and costs. I'll continue to use him in the future and highly recommend him.

Our garage door came off track and had some slight damage. I called Dloughy doors this morning and he came right out. Not only did he do a great job fixing the door, his price was very fair as well. I own a small business and noticed his professional approach right away, and am very pleased with the results of their service.

We bought our house 15 years ago. Slid in behind the wall mounted opener was a business card for Dlouhy Doors. We called them for our first repair over 10 years ago and the few times we've needed them since then. Dean is knowledgeable, efficient, professional and patient. We appreciate his honesty and thoroughness. He recently installed two new LiftMasters. What a difference. I appreciate that he uses the product he sells and can attest to its trustworthiness. And he loves dirt bike racing! (That's just a side note to prove he's more than a decent fella.)

My garage door starts to go down and then comes back up. Is there a quick fix for this or does it require garage opener repair or replacement?

Eve Cocker | Sep 7, 2019
Dlouhy Garage Doors of San Diego | Sep 7, 2019

Your garage door may not be going down for a couple reasons, but if your door starts going down and then quickly back up again, there is a good chance it is safety beam related. The safety beams are on each side of the door, should be six inches off the ground on each side, and both have solid lights on them.
