I hardly ever write reviews, but Acoustic Music deserves a great review. Meg is absolutely the best!!! Everybody at this shop is wonderful, smart, and kind. I bought my first guitar from Acoustic Music in 1993. I keep going back. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

This place is always a wonderful experience. Knowledge and kind staff! Staff feels warm and humorous. Good selection of musical instruments. Seems like a good space to get in touch with other artists as well.

The best guitar shop in the state. Go here first then also here last when you're trying to find a guitar. I bought a guitar here that had a slight issue and the owner (Meg) gave me another better guitar to play while my first was getting fixed. She called herself my guitar's "godmother" which says everything you need to know about how much she cares about her customers and their guitars. THE BEST.

Super knowledgeable and friendly staff. These are musicians that care about their instruments and their customers. Excellent selection of high end acoustic guitars, ukes, etc., as well as more affordable instruments. I had a bad experience at another local shop, and acoustic music went above and beyond to help me get the guitar I wanted.

We have 4 people who teach ukulele lessons!
(steel stringed instruments) Martin, Collings, Santa Cruz, Bedell, Breedlove, Taylor, Eastman, Teton, Yamaha. (classical/nylon stringed instruments) Cordoba and New World We have dealerships with these companies and carry them in new. We have other used brands.
Masks, worn over the nose and mouth, mandatory. We don’t allow very many people in the store at the same time. Sanitize hands before touching any merchandise.
I doubt they would rent. They do have new ownership, though, so you could call and ask. Summerhays usually rents instruments.
That's never been our experience. One of the great things about acoustic music is it they're always willing to help but also willing to let you just look around the store. I've never gone in and been ignored. I'm hoping it was an anomaly and suggest giving them one more try if you are open to it. They have incredibly fair pricing.
