Received a voice mail filled with vulgarity from a barber at this location after I called Joe to tell him that the barber did a terrible job on my hair. I have uploaded the message on youtube for all the world to hear. Just search for "Joe Lee barbershop vulgarity voice mail." In my opinion this barbershop lacks the professionalism to serve downtown business professionals. The service may be adequate to serve Houston's migrant and homeless demofraphics.

It's not too complicated a review... They took care of me years ago when I worked downtown. Took new work away from downtown for several years... But when I came back, it's pretty much the same. A nice clean cut every time.

I came in for a shave and my son a haircut the man did not do a clean shave 🪒 on top of that he charge me $50 for the shave I see why this place was empty

I’ve been going to this shop downtown for 20 yrs. When it comes to a good haircut you can’t do any better. Joe Lee (the owner) is a vet and has been cutting hair for probably 50 years and it’s still as good a cut as I received the first day I walked in back in the early 90’s. Alfonse is his main Sid kick and he is also very good. Can’t go wrong here folks.
