I mean…I can’t front. I was disappointed. We went to celebrate my daughter’s 8th grade graduation. Our chef saved this experience because it was sub par. The floors were dirty, the bathroom floor was sticky. We were seated for about 35min before we got water, I asked for new plates but I could run my fingers across the plates and see the grease on my fingers, and the silverware had bad water stains and looked like it came from the dollar store. It was just wayyyy below what I expected for the prices. I spent 208.00, including the $35 tip. My server maybe could’ve been better, but my rating is more based on my disappointment. She responded very well to our requests and was kind. But I expected so much more. This was my first habachi experience and I was just not impressed. But our chef did a good job of entertaining the kids and it was a lot of food.

The price for the 6 course meals is great! We came down to celebrate a birthday. It was worth it. Sushi was great. The chef seemed uncomfortable or shy but did his best to put on a great service at a great speed. Super sweet guy. There was an error and delay with my drink and I had to remind the server 3x to check after 1hr of waiting. It was awkward to have to ask several times but she kindly explained and then brought it out right. Full disclosure: the tables are shared. We reserved a table and were ender the impression we would be seated in our own table but it was shared service. Our party and two other parties were seated with us. We didn't mind this part. If anyone is curious about wait time.We waited a little over 1hr for the chef to come. Arrived at 7:15pm left at 10pm. Still worth it.

Just an awesome experience for family dinner at the Chicago downtown location. The ambience, the food experience is just mind blowing. Great place to go out with your family during holidays, and kids get amply entertained too.. will definitely recommend.

Birthday dinner. The people were pleasant and attentive. We loved the service and paid the bull then added extra cash tip for service done right. We all ordered steak and chicken. I added lobster tail. They were attentive to my sister's shellfish allergy and cooked food safely cleaning in between. Everything was seasoned well and we were very happy. Lemon drop alcohol drink was wonderful with a nice balance of alcohol and sugar. Meal was salad, soup with lots of mushroom and onion, noodles with zucchini/onion/mushrooms, and then chicken fried rice instead of steamed with steak and chicken. The chef put on a show. He was very nice. Every bit was worth the dollar and I didn't feel it was expensive.

We parked in the lot for the building it's in and yes it does
Once you get there they will ask but most likely with that many coming with you you will be placed on the Hibachi side where the chef cooks
Park on a side street and use the ParkChicago app....I paid $8 for two hours and if you want to extend the time you can do it thur the app in 30 minute increments.
If you want a show, you need 2 tables. If you want them together you can accommodate in a regular table.
Reservation is best walk in 50 50 chance on getting a sit
No they dont. We parked at the closest parking in the john Hancock building and paid $38 for under 2hrs.
It depends on what you order. Drinks, dessert etc
With tips and taxes included you'd pay around 130/160$ for a great tasting, and viewing experience
There's meter parking on the side streets, underground parking at water tower half block away as well.
Lowest floor, down below ground level. Should be a few sets of stairs leading down to the area where it is.
Depending on what you order. Dinner with wine could run somewhere along the lines of $80 to $100.
Benihana is a chain of Japanese resturants where the food is cooked at your table, the cooks do a sort of performance while cooking.
No if it's a bday they sing and free photo join bday club free meal awesome!
